All involved at St Dennis WMC, and the community, are excited with proposals for the club to undergo a complete redevelopment which will bring the whole building, including the community hall, right up to date and fit for purpose to serve the community as a central focal point for many many years to come.

Proposals include increasing the size of the community hall, and updating all the facilities including access, toilets, kitchen, and secure storage. This will enable us accommodate more groups and open up the hall to a wider group of people. It will also increase our stage area allowing for more professional shows, events, live concerts/gigs and a fully functionally modern setup for our local Variety Co.

Other plans include turning the current snooker room into a social meeting point. This will be accessible to anyone, even out of hours, as a social point to meet with friends, sit back in comfort and just have a chat over a cup of tea and talk about the good old days, and of course to have a little village gossip.

To date we have been successful in securing just over £11000 from the 'St Dennis & Nanpean Community Trust Fund'. This invaluable donation has enabled us to carry out survey reports, planning applications, enlist a  structural engineer, quantity surveyor, and to get professional detailed plans drawn up.

Currently we are awaiting the detailed plans, once this is completed our QS will be working on the costings and looking to send out to tender. We will also be working hard to secure the necessary funding to complete this exciting project. We will keep this up to date as we progress, and we hope you will join us in this exciting adventure which will give the village an all singing & dancing community hall that everyone can enjoy and be proud of.
